Intention Setting Journal Prompts

Have you heard the phrase “setting an intention” but aren’t too sure what that means or what is involved?

An intention is finding intentional clarity surrounding how you would like to show up in the world, what it is that you specifically desire and intend for yourself, and clearly speaking or visualizing it into existence.

It is a way of bringing focus and setting the tone for how things will unfold in your life.

When we make intentions we step into our power to enact change and advocate for our truth and needs.

Some intention-setting journal prompts to play around with this week:

  1. What am I wanting to see more of in my life?

  2. What limiting beliefs are holding me back?

  3. What can I let go of so that more can flow in?

Example: I am wanting to be more present in my day-to-day life. The thought that I need to know the outcome of future events is holding me back. I am going to let go of needing to control every aspect of my life.

I set the intention to be more present in my day-to-day life. I let go of the need to control all aspects of life and the need to know outcomes.
