Walking Meditations

So we know that there are a lot of benefits to getting some movement in our day, and we know that there are a lot of benefits to meditating as well, but sometimes we feel so overwhelmed or that we don't have enough to time to fit all of these self-care tools in that we may just end up avoiding them.

Self-care can feel difficult when it seems to be a struggle or a chore.

We want to make sure that whatever we are doing feels natural and at ease to us so that we are seeing the benefits and not adding additional stressors to our system.

One thing that we can do, if we are strapped for time, is look into walking meditations.

With walking meditations you are accomplishing two birds with one stone, so to speak, but with the benefits of both.

There are many ways to do walking meditations, whether it is outside in your own neighborhood, going to a park or the gardens, going inside a museum or a shopping center, or using a treadmill even.

There are many prerecorded walking meditations that you may feel called to, and a lot of them are free on YouTube or you can look into an app like Insight Timer.

Here is one for you to check out if you are interested:

If you end up checking it out let me know what you think! I always love hearing from you.

Yours in wellness & healing,

Angela
