Types of Meditation

Meditation is not only sitting in silence free from all thought.
There are many types of meditation out there that fit a variety of needs and personality types.
If sitting in silence is difficult for you, listening to a guided imagery visualization may be a better fit.
If you are looking to connect more with your body or breath as a healing tool, there are meditations that focus on that as well.
Insight Timer is a downloadable app that I currently like for meditation. They have a large selection of every type of meditation imaginable by some of the world’s best guides.
There is also a large selection of free meditations on YouTube.
