Transgenerational Trauma

Have you ever noticed patterns playing out throughout your life without any idea where they may be coming from? These patterns could be playing out in behaviors, routines, and/or thought forms in our current reality.
Sometimes, when we continue to go through a loop in our life and are unable to make any connections with its origins, it can be worthwhile to explore the potential of ancestral or transgenerational trauma.
Transgenerational trauma is the patterns that are passed down from one generation to the next through the lines of lineage. This type of trauma can be passed on consciously or unconsciously within the bloodline.
For example, an individual who has fleeing or fighting for their life as a refugee within their ancestral line may pass on that trauma through their offspring on a cellular level epigenetically.
Some ways to work with ancestral trauma:
Help identify and release patterns with a trained trauma practitioner.
Release what is not yours to carry.
